Free speech alone is not enough to defend our self from those who want to limit our speech, these people will use against you every tool at their disposal. The internet is only partially censored: there isn't much you can't find out there, the difference right now is only in what you see first. Reddit is a clear example of this attitude: they scaled the UI so you can see less posts and if you scroll down you always see plenty of controversial comments that don't align with the most upvoted.
