The idea is to let users chose what kind of moderation lens they look through. Nothing is actually censored globally. It's currently all about spaces. If you don't use spaces and just look at topics, or make your own spaces, or pick spaces run by those you like, no problems.

Adding 'censors' is a feature so people can make their own spaces with their own rules.

It's not one set of rules and censor(s) for everyone.

That's why.

I bought nab.cx for this but was planning to point it at /t/all/hot

It’s not set up yet.

because go1dfish likes to use the words, without actually making it free speech.

Resources aren't finite in any concrete sense, we will stop using oil before it runs out. Conflict is increased by enclosure.

Tl;dr: moldyfish is 100% wrong about property rights reducing conflict. Enclosure creates conflict.

ROFL!!!

I'm saying the stone age did not end because we ran out of stones.

The only real scarcity is knowledge. The more we know, the fewer resources we need. Computers today use orders of magnitude less energy, time, and materials to do what computers a couple decades ago could do.

There are more computers today but if you extrapolated resource usage for one 1950s computer to the billions of computers we have today with similar processing power, you would say it was impossible for everyone to have a computer because resources are finite.

You would be wrong. Resource scarcity has not affected computer supply. The only real scarcity is knowledge. How can we make computers smaller, faster, more powerful?

Tell that to the Dodo bird, the passenger pigeon, and the millions of other animals we drove to extinction by overhunting them.

[] -0 points

If anything enclosure accelerates extinction. Or, private enterprise would make giant feed lots of dodos. They would not be extinct but they would not be free, like cows are kept crammed into feedlots. Better to let nature take its course without making things much worse through enclosure and property rights.

Dodos didn't taste good at all, so that's bullshit.

[] -0 points

Then you have no clue why they disappeared? Might not have been scarcity of resources? How is private property helping prevent extinctions? The way I see it, the sixth great mass extinction event we're currently in is a direst result of capitalism and its waste.

They were killed ny humans.

The problems of mankind are man-made and so are the solutions.

Are you saying the dodo should have put up a wall to keep the humans out?

Why?

https://www.youtube.com/user/tthistlethwaite/videos

Because Tom made it really, really noisy with his manic spam experiments.

We needed something to help hold the place together otherwise it would have been 100% noise.

[] -0 points

It is 100% noise. You are delusional.

Because I'm really 15 different people!

Everyone knows go1dfish is only a free speech warrior when he's on someone else's site.

Because it's owned by an american

[] -1 points

Because go1dfish is a secret commie.

[] -0 points

It's not really a secret. He admits to being an anarchist.
