Its hard not to fall into a dominant pattern as one group wins out and things become homogeneous. Even if that dominant group doesn't mean to, simply by disagreeing and providing negative feedback in terms of rebuttals or downvotes, that tends to overwhelm anyone else and so they end up leaving to form their own homogeneous bubble.
However, I haven't seen that happen entirely here. Its not perfectly so; we don't have every single idea conceivable equally represented and nor could that ever be possible. But its far better than I feared it would be. It hasn't devolved into a voat or a rattle. It reminds me a bit of the chans where at least some differences can coexist.
