I hate it a lot.

even if it remains the default it will eventually become optional.

What do you hate about it?

i guess it's the inverse scheme. doesn't feel like a dark mode, feels like, well, an inverse scheme. the text has the same contrast but white on black feels more intense than black on white somehow.

dark modes are fine, i actually like the topmost shade of blue. would be good if the main content actually had a little less contrast.

It is. It hurts to look at. I can't focus at all on this.

I've reverted this experiment for now.

dontsuemebro.com didn't have it. I went to notabug.io to see what everyone was talking about. It started to grow on me but I like using dontsuemebro for nostalgic reasons. Interesting that mirrors show different views, rankings, etc. There are lots of possibilities for implementing customizable individualized mirrors, it seems. Good!

actually, i just clicked out to a link here and it illustrates what i'm talking about: http://joel.net/EBONICS/Translator

the color scheme is a little more muted, feels like my eyes bounce off of it a lot less.

High contrast is not accessible. Very hard to read. Very painful.

I can not use the website in this state.

It's an experiment.

Based on: https://userstyles.org/styles/159589/reddit-night

It's essentially just a color inversion.

I can't view dark websites. How do I switch back?

I just turned it back off just reload.

It was an experiment, don't have optional themes yet so will go back to the default.

Oh the pain is subsiding. That was terrible. Now I have to take the rest of the day off to let my brain and eyes recover without a migraine developing.

Hard white on hard black is like looking into a torch.
