Make a space.

Use:

ban type commands

You won't see them at all (they will still show up in comment count) I want to add more flexibility to do auto-collapse rather than hide; but that won't come until after switch to YAML.

Example: https://notabug.io/user/8nusKMFVI6hOCMIysO2abyTHuJFBlJqIvKCGjyVfjE8.thzgiH3zhKGFBc8UnqtypFgle4uFNADZP_0Xurg_f5Q/spaces/test/comments/bdaa5466bbc2261aeca9b15554f9b92e02efc52c/cop-kills-himself-and-there-was-much-rejoicing

Will deploy to nab.cx shortly

type? wasn't it kind for this stuff?

[]go1dfish -0 points

Yeah they are kind of redundant at the moment.

Though kind is most accurately one of: "comment", "submission", "chatmsg" or "wikipage"

A command still has a kind of comment.

This is just a quick hack, YAML space configs are definitely the future but want to spend a while in planning to make sure we get those right so we don't have to do this sort of transition again.

There's wikipages?

[]go1dfish -0 points

Kinda, they are what is used to store sidebars, and listing source as well as the pages linked in the footer.

This is the notabug.io sidebar for example:

https://notabug.io/user/CEyKrDd1xyPXpWSV00MgvnZY2VJLHXgzCvhMeDwKTYA.yjSq0DyXzzhB_ZXr_DzfJgij3tXU0-3t0Q5bJAtZpj8/pages/space:frontpage:sidebar

The URLs are pretty terrible and they aren't really collaborative since they are owned by a signle user so I haven't exposed them in the UI so much as wiki pages but you could use them that way.

"auto-collapse rather than hide;"

Yeah that would be better. Also leave everything uncollapsed by default. I want to see the downvoted comments without clicking on the expand link.

This is another thing I want to achieve with the newer configs.

The ability to set comment collapse thresholds in a space.

[] -0 points

Leave downvoted uncollapsed; but collapse the command comments.

[]go1dfish -0 points

Collapsing command comments by default might be a reasonable thing to do even before it is configurable.

[] -0 points

Yes you can.

ban alias go1dfish

ban alias somerandomperson

I'm not sure this will work in comment sections yet. Comment moderation needs some work still and is something I've been designing with the planned move to YAML for space configs:
