tldr: strong electron-phonon coupling can be induced at room temperature at the boundary of thin piezoelectric layers when the layer itself is strongly vibrated mechanically.

So while it may allow for lossless carrying of power it will only work for pulses, not for continuous AC or DC. Additionally, inducing the vibration in the piezo layer will consume power.
