Whatever happened to the idea that the internet interprets censorship as damage and routes around it? Did it go the way of information wants to be free? All the dweebie techies went full neoliberal. Fuck.

everyone that supported the free flow of information then is probably still doing it

the massive influx of normies thanks to social media is what caused the current year internet to look like this

True dat. Fucking neurotypical scum of the earth invading everything fun and making you pay for what used to be free and enclosing bits so they can restrict access and censor. Fuck neoliberalism so hard.

Peers should ideally connect to other peers yeah, if they don't someone can setup a relay peer to do it for them though by connecting to all known superpeers

Nothing about the site requires it. Use it out of convenience and an attempt to improve overall performance.

It’s not a necessity at least not at the moment, and they’ve been pretty good on these matters aside from a single incident.

So I guess an important point is why does it matter what the host's policy is if the admin layer is currently the more active layer? If notabug's censorlessness depends on nodes then the host the main node resides on is irrelevent.

Notabug will censor even when there is no legal requirement.

How does Voat have this and Notabug doesn't. Notabug is more censored than Voat, which for a supposidly censorless system should mean something.

So whether we fix that problem or not at least we should be 100% open about the fact that notabug is not a censorless website, or even close, and its not just censored in theory but in practice.

You are not on an anti-censorship site.
